Rapid Wrap can be applied to virtually every type of material in wet, dry , clean,dirty or heavily corroded conditions. Rapid Wrap can therefore be a great alternative to traditional methods of cementing, soldering, welding, sleeving and replacement
Included in the Titan Wrap repair kit is a special epoxy putty. The putty is used to plug the leaking hole or split, when the putty is kneaded the setting agent is becomes as hard as steel within minutes of mixing. The wrap tape is them applied after being placed in cold water. Once the tape has cured the repair becomes as solid as steel and it can be drilled, tapped, filed and machined. The repair will also be impervious to chemicals and corrosion and will adhere to wet surfaces.
